SRINAGAR, Sept 19: Police today said a person was killed and two others were injured in two separate road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a tractor turned turtle at Dachanpora in Rafiabad area of Baramulla district, resulting in on spot death of Musharaf Mushtaq and injuries to Naseer Ahmad Dar. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing legal-medico formalities. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
He said that a Santro Car bearing registration number JK18-9517 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Zakir Ahmad Dar near Laroo in Kulgam district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
