JAMMU, Sept 11: Adding yet another feather in its cap, Muthoot Finance Limited, the flagship company of The Muthoot Group and India’s largest gold financing company in terms of loan portfolio, today opened its new branch at Bari Brahmana.
Rakesh Gupta, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industries, was the chief guest, who inaugurated the branch along with RK Koul, Retd DGM, State Bank Of India, Regional Manager, The Muthoot Group, Yash Pal Sharma, Arun Kumar Sharma and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, RK Koul said, “Opening of new branch at Bari Brahmana is in consonance with the dynamic policy of the Group to reach out to all places to enable financial inclusion.
“With the opening of the branch, the Group will play a vital role in employment generation in the area. Since the Group firmly believes in employing the sons of the soil, local youth in the State will be offered employment opportunities in the branches. Further, the opening of the branch will enable self-employment, especially in the MSME sector like businesses in Small Scale Industries, Self Employment, Tour Operations, etc, through its easy Gold Loans Schemes”, Koul added.
