Six injured in separate road accidents

JAMMU, Sept 6: Six persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, two occupants of an auto were injured when it rolled down in Narwal area this evening. The injured persons identified as Shiv Kumar (40) son of Ram Pal and Hari Ram (28) son of Balak Ram, both residents of UP (at present Trikuta Nagar) were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
A pedestrian identified as Shakuntla Devi (50) wife of Gopal Dass of Bahu Fort got injured when a scooty hit her at Belicharana area of city outskirts. Similarly, another pedestrian namely Ajay Gupta, son of Bodh Raj of Link Road (Jammu) also received injuries when he was hit by an unknown vehicle near Bakshi Nagar naka.
A man identified as Balbir Kumar (31) son of Chain Kumar of Gurkha Nagar was injured in the collision of a bike and a scooter at Gujjar Nagar while a woman identified as Shilpa Sharma (26) wife of Ankit of Chattha was also injured when she fell from a moving motorcycle at Chattha.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have also taken cognizance.
