Srinagar, Sept 6: A teenager was killed while five others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Maximo van bearing registration number JK13C-1819 hit and injure a pedestrian namely Sajad Ahmad Ganie at Ompora Bazar in Budgam district. “The injured boy succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to SKIMS Soura,” the spokesman said. In another accident, he said, a tipper bearing registration number JK04-6726 hit and injure a pedestrian namely Hajra at Main Bazar in Chadoora area of the district. “The injured lady was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla for treatment.
A motorcycle bearing registration number JK01V-1549 hit and injure a 75 year old pedestrian namely Ghulam Mohammad Tantray at Duderhama in Ganderbal district. “The injured was shifted to the Hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK02R-8170 collided with a Maruti 800 bearing registration number JK18-7316 near Chandhara on National Highway in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to three persons. “All the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment. Police has taken cognizance in all the cases.
