UDHAMPUR, Aug 30: A deputation of Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum, District Udhampur, under the leadership of its District President Rajesh Singh, called on Minister of State, Finance and Information Technology Pawan Gupta at his residence and submitted a memorandum in support of their demands. Deputation informed that salary of education voluntaries (now converted as ReT regularized teachers) for the period July 2013 to March 2014 and May 2015 to August 2015 has not been released so for as a result of which they are facing great hardship and are unable to provide bread to their families. Deputation requested MoS Pawan Gupta to intervene into the matter for release of their pending salary and implementation of judgment passed by the Double Bench of High Court regarding transfers of regularized ReTs who have completed five years satisfactory service.
Pawan Gupta gave a patient hearing and assured the deputation that he will bring their grievances and demands into the notice of concerned appropriate authorities for their immediate redressal.
