Surinder Choudhary visits border areas

JAMMU, Aug 30: Expressing his grave concern over killing of innocent people on borders, senior leader of PDP and Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Surinder Choudhary today demanded an ex-gratia to the tune of Rs 10 lakh to the families members of all those who lost their lives in the border firing.  He also demanded compensation of Rs five lakh each to all the injured persons.
In a statement issued here today after visiting border areas, Mr Choudhary regretted that miseries of border residents have been compounding with every passing day. He said that people were living on constant fear because peace in the border areas was fragile.
