JAMMU, Aug 29: Judicial Employees Welfare Association held a meeting in which district presidents of all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir Provinces took part and held discussion regarding implementation of Shetty Commission Report.
During the meeting, the speakers stated that despite Supreme Court’s order to all the State Governments for implementation of the Shetty Commission Report, the J&K Government failed to implement the Report in favour of the Judicial Employees of Jammu and Kashmir, as rest of the many States have implemented the same.
The speakers appealed to the Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir to redress the grievances of the judicial employees by directing the State Government to implement the Shetty Commission Report within a month.
They further stated that State Secretary of the Association along with District presidents will attend a conference organized by All India Judicial Employees Association at Hyderabad tomorrow in view of the non-implementation of Shetty Commissioner Report in favour of the employees.
