RAJOURI, July 15: Chief Medical Officer, Rajouri Dr Chaman Bhasin today visited many Health Centres / Sub Centres in Manjakote and Kalakote blocks besides Rajouri and found several of these locked while employees in some were found absent from duty today.
Official sources said that during visit to Medical units at Bathooni, Shahpur, Dungi, Palma, Nagrota, Dhangri and Baljarallan, the CMO found all of them locked during the mid day. He called the explanation of the BMO Kalakote and Manjakote and charge-sheeted the absentee staff. He also stopped the salary and asked the DDO for deduction of two and half days wages of all staff members. ISM Dispensaries at Doongi and Palma were also found locked.
During visit to 24×7 PHC Kallar Chatyarin in Manjakote, the CMO found poor cleanliness and present staff members without dress code. Medical Officer was also absent from duty. One FMPHW Veerta Devi and Ashu from NMH were present there. Inadequate staff was placed from morning, wait and night duty. He called the explanation of BMO and MO for it. They were also fined under rule. Later, he paid visit to District Hospital Rajouri and found some Emergency staff, Labour Room, Ortho, children ward and Surgical staff absent from duty. They included Munira Begum, Sadiq, Safeena Begum, Aieza Parveen, Musrat Shabeen, Nagina Kouser, Tahira Kouser, Havinder Kour, Suriya Jabeen, Zahoora Arshed, Monika Dutta and Naseem Akhtar. Many staff members were found without dress code and they were fined.
