SRINAGAR, June 23: A Lok Adalat was organized by District Legal Services Authority, Srinagar under the chairmanship of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, who is also Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, Rashid Ali Dar at District Court Complex Sanat Ghar Bemina Srinagar. Five benches were constituted to settle the different nature of cases.
As many as 406 cases were taken up during the Lok Adalat, out of which 314 cases were settled amicably. An amount of Rs. 4,21,550 was realized as fine in petty criminal cases.
