PURMANDAL, June 21: Up in arms against bad condition of the main road, resident of Purmandal and adjoining areas held a strong protest demonstration, here today.
The protesting people raised slogans against the State Government and its R&B Department for their failure to repair the badly damaged road since months.
According to Amar Nath Shastri, who led the protest demonstration, locals as well as the visiting pilgrims have been facing lots of problems due to bad condition of the road but there was no action by the concerned department and elected representative despite repeated requests for the same.
