JAMMU, June 8: Keeping in view fast depletion of green gold and to create awareness among the masses in this regard, “Gou Gopal Paryavaran Sammelan” (Environment Conference) is being solemnized at Seri Panditan (Chhanni) near Amb Garhota in Bhalwal, Jammu from June 10 to 14.
The venue, where this programme is going to be organized, happens to be the place of worship of Dwarka Nath Shastri Ji Maharaj, a spiritual personality of Jammu & Kashmir, whose religious discourses and sermons continue to enlighten the masses for more than a decade.
Giving details of the programme at a media conference here today at Jammu, Swami Shri Gangadhar Ji Maharaj, a young saint and disciple of Shastri Ji Maharaj, informed that this “Paryavaran Sammelan” is based on the theme of one of Maharaj Ji’s last sermons: “Hamey Chahney Wale Hamey Eint-Panthron Ki Bani Hui Imarton Mei Na Dekhtey Huhey, Hamey Daridr Narayan Aur Ped-Podhon Ke Rup Mei Dekhein…” (Those who love us, they should not see us in structures made of bricks and stones, but in poor and, trees and plants).
“Renowned Sanskrit Scholars and revered saints from within and outside the State are taking part in this five-day long religious congregation, who will enchant and enlighten the devotees,” he explained.
About the programme schedule, Swami Ji said, “Holy Kalash Yatra will be taken out on 10th June, 2015 (Wednesday) at 7 am while Havan-Yagya will be performed daily from 8 am to 10 am. Besides, there will a programme of religious discourses and Sankirtan by renowned scholars, which has been divided into two time slots i.e., from 2 pm to 5 pm and 8 pm to 11 pm daily.”
Swami Ji also invited people from all walks of life and faiths in general while devotees in particular to take part in the “Paryavaran Sammelan” and get benefitted with the spiritual vibrations during the five-day programme.
