JAMMU, Apr 16: Due to damage suffered by a 10MVA, 33/11 KV power transformer at Receiving Station Channi Himmat, the power supply will remain affected on April 17 and 18.
According to Ajay Gupta, Chief Engineer, EM&RE Jammu, PDD, due to lightning, a 10MVA, 33/11 KV power transformer at Receiving Station Channi Himmat suffered damages. Replacement of the transformer will take two days.
He informed that the power supply will remain affected in Channi Himmat, Channi Rama and Trikuta Nagar Extension on April 17 and 18.
