JAMMU, Apr 8: Two motorcyclists wearing masks robbed an elderly woman of her gold
chain weighting around 3 tolas in Friends Colony area, falling under the jurisdiction of Channi Himmat police station.
As per police sources, an elderly woman identified as Jai Kishori Raina, wife of Pushkar Nath Raina, a resident of Friends Colony, Trikuta Nagar was returning home from the market, when two persons wearing masks riding on motorcycle snatched her gold chain weighting around 3 tolas.
The woman raised hue and cry, but the accused managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR number 31/15 under Section 382 RPC has been registered at Channi Himmat police station and investigation started.
