Goods worth Rs 57 lakh traded at LoC

POONCH, Aug 7: Goods worth over Rs 57 lakh were traded across the Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh in Poonch today.
A total 12 trucks rolled out from the trade facilitation centre to PoK today when the LoC point was opened. These vehicles  carried  bananas, cumin and chillies worth Rs 41.67 lakh.
From PoK, two trucks carrying dry dates and herbs worth Rs 15.82 lakh entered this side. Two officials from Indian and Pak side were deployed to facilitate the trade.
