REASI, Apr 3: In order to bridge the gap between locals and the administration, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Sushma Chauhan today held a meeting with the prominent citizens of Reasi town.
The DDC gave full assurance to the people to take up their demands, adding that efforts are on to give impetus to the developmental activities for strengthening delivery mechanism.
People put forward their demands which mainly included speeding up post flood reconstruction and rebuilding efforts, road connectivity, tourist infrastructure development, creation of Reasi Development Authority, implementation of Master Plan of area, redressal of unemployment, ration supply, inadequate medical facilities, water supply and establishment of power grid station etc.
DDC assured that the district administration will make optimum use of the available resources to provide better services to the people. She stressed for coordinated and dedicated efforts for strengthening the developmental initiatives.
