Yudhvir for improving facilities at parking slots

JAMMU, Mar 26:  Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi presented a memorandum to the Minister of State for Information, Education and Culture Priya Sethi and highlighted the demands for improving basic facilities at parking slots and also projected other developmental needs of the people of the area. He discussed the demands of the people with the Minister during her whirlwind tour to Jammu City.
The Minister inspected the facilities at various parking lots in Jammu city. Yudhvir Sethi demanded multi storey parking spaces, allowing/enrouting of vehicles from Shalimar Parking and exit from Super Bazaar, repairs and installation of street lights at parking places, cleaning of streets in the vicinity of Shalimar to Super Bazaar and cleanliness of lanes and drains.
The Minister inspected various parking lots at Shalimar, Super Bazar, Purani Mandi, and Kacchi Chowni and asked JMC to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in parking places at the earliest while VC JDA was asked to take up the project of multi tier parking with the concerned agencies.
The Minister said that the Government will take all requisite developmental initiatives to provide better facilities to the people and projects will be chalked out to create multi-tier parking in Jammu to ease traffic congestion in Jammu city.
The Minister was accompanied by MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta, VC JDA Mubarak Singh and Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Soujanya Sharma.
