JAMMU, Mar 26: Sunil Dimple, president Jammu West Assembly Movement held meetings with the Minister for PHE Ch Sukhnandan and Minister for PWD, R&B Sunil Sharma and brought to the notice of both the concerned people of Jammu city in general and of Jammu West constituency in particular.
Sunil Dimple demanded for drinking water improvement schemes, Chenab water supply scheme, grants allocation and special financial package be implemented at the earliest for the Jammu city.
Dimple also demanded for “totally free of cost” drinking water to the people of the State.
Ch Sukhnandan assured Sunil Dimple that the water tariffs will be reduced and special grants will be allocated for the Jammu district also and enquiries will be conducted of PHE and Irrigation funds allocated for the schemes.
Later in meeting with MoS PWD Sunil Sharma, Dimple urged for the construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi, Jewel Chowk. He also demanded to allocate the funds for immediate black topping of the roads of the Jammu city.
Dimple appealed the Minister to allocate funds for the Circular Road from Manda Ambphalla to Janipur High Court to Roop Nagar, Ban Talab to ease the traffic problem on Rehari Chungi, Ambphalla Janipur High Court Roads.
The Minister assured Sunil Dimple that he would personally inspect the roads and get special funds for Jammu city for the complete black topping.
