UDHAMPUR, Aug 5: All J&K ReT Teachers Forum today urged the Chief Minister to redress their genuine demands, so that ReTs may not suffer anymore.
A monthly meeting of the forum was held under the chairmanship of its district president Lekh Raj Parihar and State president Vinod Sharma, in which ReT and EV teachers from all the zones participated.
While speaking, Vinod Sharma, State president, said that the Government has assured them that their demands will be redressed, but till date nothing has been done, compelling them to adopt agitational path.
He demanded regularization of EVs as general line teachers, who have completed their seven years since march 2010, inclusion of 5 years rendered service of ReTs for seniority benefits, implementation of Government order No 115 dated 29-2-2008 for old pension scheme in favour of ReTs engaged before 1-1-2010, implementation of Government order for enhancement of wages of ReTs as announced in the Assembly session, transfer policy in favour of regularized ReT teachers and provision of SRO 43 in favour of ReTs and EVs.
Among others present were Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Sukh Dev Singh, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Parmod Sharma, Ravinder Singh, etc.
