JAMMU, Mar 20: State Vigilance Organization has registered cases against the officers of Health Department for illegal appointments of Safaiwalas and Nursing Orderlies in Poonch and Surankote areas.
A case under Section 5 (1) (d), 5(2) PC Act and 120-B RPC against then Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Dr Ashok Verma, Dr Mohammad Akram Malik and Dr Mumtaz Hussain Shah, then Block Medical Officers Surankote, District Poonch and others on the basis of an enquiry into the allegations of illegal appointments of Class-IV employees from time to time by depriving the genuine persons in connivance with the accused beneficiaries.
The investigation of these cases has been taken up.sss
