JAMMU, Mar 17: A 30-year old youth who allegedly tried to end his life on Monday by setting himself on fire, at his residence in Talab Tillo area, today passed away at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Ravi son of Bua Ditta, a resident of Gole Puli in Talab Tillo area, had allegedly tried to kill him by setting self on fire in a closed room at his residence, on Monday morning.
The seriously injured youth was undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu, where he expired this evening.
Meanwhile, another fire victim identified as Sunil Kumar (30) son of Babu Ram of Kunjwani who had received about 78% burn injuries in a stove blast incident at his residence on Monday, also expired this evening at GMCH Jammu, where he was undergoing treatment.
