Rajesh Gupta kick starts work on lanes, drains

JAMMU, Feb 27: Providing momentum to ongoing developmental work in the Jammu East Constituency, senior BJP leader and MLA-elect Rajesh Gupta today kick-started the work on lanes and drains at Hanuman Gali Jain Bazaar. With the commencing of this work, the number of developmental works initiated by the newly elected MLA has crossed the mark of dozens that too in a short spell of about two months.
Addressing the residents and guests, Rajesh Gupta assured that he will strive to provide fillip to the much required support system capable of serving the people at their doorsteps. Stressing on the developmental agenda of BJP, Rajesh said that he will not take rest till the time Jammu East Constituency becomes a model constituency. He also said that exploring tourism potential of this Constituency is another priority which shall be taken up soon. He said that tourists could prove all benevolent to business community with proper focus and serious approach in promoting tourism related sites of Jammu. Giving example of recently concluded maiden Shivratri festival at Peerkhoo, he said that success of this event has boosted the morale of all the stakeholders and if pursued sincerely and wonders can be achieved in promoting tourism.
The locals appreciated Rajesh for working relentlessly for the development of the Constituency. They said that people here are satisfied with the working pattern of their MLA and reposed their confidence in his leadership.
Others who accompanied Rajesh included Vijay Mahajan, Arun Sethi, Lucky Jain, Rajesh, Manav, Gopal, Chaman Lal, Rajkumar and Tarsem Jain.
