SAMBA, Feb 19: One person was killed after he was hit by a speeding vehicle on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway at Swankha Morh today.
Police said the vehicle which was in fast speed fled after the accident leaving the poor fellow in the pool of blood. The dead body was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu where it has been kept in mortuary for identification.
The Vijaypur Police has registered a case FIR No 20/14 under Section 279/304 A RPC.
