JAMMU, Feb 19: Former State president and senior leader of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tulsi Dass Langeh expressed serious concern over the development taking place in connection with the formation of PDP-BJP coalition Government on the terms and conditions of PDP.
In a statement, Langeh said that the formation of BJP-PDP Government by ignoring the Jammu region as declared in Vision Document by BJP, will badly affect the future of Jammu and Kashmir in general and people of Jammu region in particular.
“PDP’s pressure on BJP leadership for formation of coalition Government on its own terms and conditions should not be accepted by the BJP by sacrificing the interest of people of Jammu region as well as of the J&K as whole”, he added.
He said PDP is toeing the line of APHC and other separatist forces, with whose support PDP has emerged as a single largest party by winning 28 seats, adding that the future of J&K is not safe in their hands.
On the one hand, PDP claims equal development of all the three regions of the State and on the other hand is not honouring the aspirations of the people of the Jammu region which is serious lapse on the part of the PDP, Langeh added.
