JAMMU, Feb 16: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today discarded 37 kilograms of substandard/unstamped meat and seized 12 kilograms of polytheme bags.
Municipal Veterinary Officer, Dr Zafar Iqbal along with field staff conducted a drive from Durga Nagar, Roop Nagar, Muthi, Shakti Nagar, Subash Nagar, Rehari, Rajinder Nagar, Swaran Vihar, Police Colony and Bakshi Nagar areas.
The team discarded 37 kilograms of substandard/ unstamped meat, seized 12 kilograms of polythene carry bags and realized a fine of Rs 4,300 from the defaulters.
