JAMMU, Feb 14: J&K Government Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) held protest to pressurize the Government for fulfillment of the agreement reached out between JCC and Government on September 15, 2011.
The employees assembled outside Press Club and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
The speakers demanded regularization of daily rated workers, removal of pay disparity in clerical staff, additional budgetary support to PSU employees who do not have their resources.
They also demanded release of pending DA installments, enhancement in medical allowances, dislocation allowance to the employees and medi-claim policy for non-gazetted employees.
Those who spoke on the occasion were Balwinder Singh, Babu Hussain Malik, Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Parshotam Sharma, Darminder Singh, Bharat Bhushan.
