JAMMU, July 31: Vice Chancellor Jammu University (JU), Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar issued orders of four new Head of the Departments of Jammu University, here today.
Prof Sukh Chain Singh has replaced Prof Shohab Inayat Malik as Head of the Department of Urdu, while Prof Versha Mehta has been made Director The Business School, University of Jammu, replacing Prof Neelu Rohmetra.
Prof Satnam Kour will be the new Head of English Department, replacing Prof Posh Charak, while Prof Renu Sacchar is the new Head of the Department of Chemistry, who replaces Prof Meena Sharma.
It is pertinent to mention here that the heads of the departments, who have been replaced have successfully completed their tenure of 3 years after they had taken over on July 31, 2009, delivering splendidly as the heads of their respective departments. Now as per the precedence, the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu has nominated the new heads according to the seniority.
