JAMMU, Jan 15: Police busted a gang of burglars and arrested two persons along with large quantity of stolen items including gold and silver ornaments.
Addressing a press conference, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan said that police apprehended two burglars involved in various theft cases registered with different police stations under Sub-Division (West).
The accused have been identified as Sukhvinder Singh alias Shibu, son of Balvinder Singh of Reshamgarh Colony and Vinod Kumar alias Toka, son of Om Parkash of Patoli Brahmana.
On their disclosure, police recovered 330 grams gold, 3.5 kg silver and a piece of diamond.
He added that with the arrest of these two accused, five theft cases registered with different police stations under Sub-Division (West) were worked out.
SDPO West Shri Ram and SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Dileep Singh were also present during the press conference.
