SAMBA, Dec 11: Union Minister in PMO with independent Charge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that BJP will no longer be a party dharnas and protests now but it will take the responsibility of forming its first ever Government in the State to change the fate of the people who have met injustice through the hands of successive governments right from 1947.
Addressing various election rallies at Rajinder Pora, Belori – Smailpur and Gurah Salathia in Vijaypur Assembly Segment today to seek vote for Party candidate and its senior leader Chander Parkash Ganga, Dr Singh said ruling parties since 1947 exploited the people of the State for their vested interests to remain in power.
He said BJP which is a cadre based disciplined organization believes in transformation of power to people so that the benefits of democracy are reaped by the last man living in the remotest corner of the State.
He said the successive governments failed to come to the aspirations of the people especially the youth who are feeling totally dejected. The only thing they gave to the State is corruption and discrimination, he added.
But the days of such parties are numbered now as people of all the three regions have made up with their mind to establish a BJP Government in the State for good and transparent governance.
Dr Singh said the corruption has reached such a peak in the State that even people in Kashmir are sick of it and they appealed the Union Government not to pay flood relief to them through State Government but deposit the same directly in the account of victims.
They too feel that the benefit of all the schemes and projects sanctioned by Centre has gone to few dynasties in the State while the common man was left in lurch, he said, adding the situation has changed now and with the installation of BJP Government all the three regions of the State will get justice as there will be equitable development as the BJP’s Mantra is justice to all and appeasement to none.
Dr Jitendra Singh said there is accountability in BJP and we are answerable to people. “I being a Minister am answerable and accountable” he added.
While paying tributes to the Brig. Rajinder Singh at Rajinder Pora, he said the sacrifices given by our great heros will not go waste as good days are ahead for State and country.
He also paid tributes to Master Dhyan Singh and Pt. Prem Nath Dogra and reminded the people of their role. He said the land of Vijaypur has given birth to great heros and I believe and hope that they will guide this time entire State in showing a door to those parties and leaders who exploited them for years together.
The meetings were also addressed by BJP candidate Chander Parkash Ganga and other leaders of the party.
