JAMMU, Dec 7: PDP general secretary and MLC Yash Pal Sharma today addressed series of meeting in Bishnah constituency in favour of party candidate F C Bhagat and accused the local MLA of playing with the sentiments of masses.
Calling incumbent MLA as an opportunist politician, Sharma said that people voted in his favour in last elections for highlighting the issues of the constituency but he sold the emotions of the masses to another party which is playing communal card to gain the strength of voters.
Sharma along with other senior party leader including Yash Pal Bhagat, Chattar Saini, Bablu Sharma, Bhagwan Dass, Suraj Parkash today addressed number of meetings at party office Bishnah, Baney Chack and Pasgal where he made fervent appeal to the voters to support the PDP candidate in the Assembly elections for the overall and holistic development of the constituency.
Reposing faith in the leadership of PDP candidate from Bishnah constituency F C Bhagat, Mr Sharma said that Bhagat is a retired bureaucrat and hence knows the problems being faced by the residents of the constituency. He will stand neck to neck to sort them out if given the decisive public mandate, Mr Sharma added.
F C Bhagat, while addressing masses said, “being a local I know the level of frustration among the youth who have competence but not a platform to prove their skills while majority of the areas in Bishnah constituency are in shambles and remained neglected despite the fact that the incumbent MLA ruled the constituency for a long period.”
Appealing voters to come in large on the day of polling, he asked voters to vote in favour of the people friendly policies of the PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to see an era of development.
