REASI, Dec 5: A pilgrim visiting Mata Vaishno Devi shrine died due to cardiac arrest at Katra, here last night.
The deceased was identified as Ved Parkash (79) son of Kushal Chand of Mumbai. He suffered cardiac arrest at Chintpurni Dharamshala where he was taking rest after paying obeisance at the Cave shrine.
Meanwhile, a villager died after he fell from a hillock while cutting grass at Chasana, here last night.
Body of the deceased, identified as Prem Singh son of Dheru Ram of Gharala Kot, Chasana, was found from a nallah this morning.
