JAMMU, Dec 5: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Akhnoor constituency, Rajeev Sharma today appealed people of the constituency to vote BJP to escalate development works.
Addressing a series of public meetings at Sungal, Sumah and Bardal Khurd villages of the constituency, Rajeev Sharma said that incumbent MLA of the constituency, Sham Lal Sharma, paid more heed to the destruction of the constituency then development.
He played with the future of thousand of youths on the name of providing employment and seeing the elections coming nearer, played a drama by giving his resignation that too to the president of its party, to befool the people.
“By erecting a stone crusher in Sumah area, the present MLA no doubt improved the economic conditions of the local people but forced other people of nearby villages to intake dust released from the crusher”, he added.
The BJP candidate appealed the people to vote for BJP for overall development of the constituency, particularly ‘Kandi’ areas. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a short duration has done a lot for the upliftment of the poor and now he needs your support to make Mission 44+ successful in the State of J&K.
Former Minister, Govind Ram Sharma, also spoke on the occasion and appealed people to vote and support Rajeev Sharma. He said if BJP forms Government in the State no stone will be left unturned in the development of ‘Kandi’ and hilly areas of Akhnoor and providing employment to the unemployed youth of the area.
