AKHNOOR, Nov 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Akhnoor Constituency Rajeev Sharma today appealed the people to vote and support BJP to root out corruption prevalent in the system and development of the State particularly rural areas.
Addressing a series of public meeting at hilly areas of Akhnoor Block including Knedi, Budh Cheryaee, Gaar and Majoor, where he was warmly welcomed by the local populace, Rajeev Sharma expressed resentment over deteriorated condition of roads in these hilly areas. He said in almost all the villages of Akhnoor the condition of the roads is pathetic. Due to rampant corruption, the roads made by the Government cannot bear even a downpour of rains.
He appealed the people of the constituency to vote whole heartedly for BJP to fulfill its mission 44+ so that BJP may give the State of J&K a full majority Government, which will be fully accountable to the people and will work to root out corruption and unemployment in the State.
Former Minister, Govind Ram Sharma, who was also present on the occasion, said that BJP is making special efforts to vanish the corruption and loot system of public money in the present system so that the poor public may get basic facilities like good roads, proper water and power supply, etc.
BJP leader, Bharat Bhushan Gupta and young BJP leaders, Suresh Sharma and Kamal Sharma were also present on the occasion.
