JAMMU, Nov 29:
Ten candidates today filed their nomination papers for the last phase of Assembly polls in Jammu and Kathua districts to be held on December 20.
In Jammu, BJP candidate from Jammu East Rajesh Gupta and independent candidate from Jammu West Constituency Dr Anil Dhar filed their nominations before the Returning Officer.
Meanwhile, in Kathua constituency, four candidates filed nomination papers.
The candidates Naresh Kumar Sharma (Independent), Kasturi Lal (BMP), Sudesh Kumar (Independent) and Jatinder Singh alias Babu Singh (Congress) filed their nominations from Kathua constituency.
However, Parvez Ahmed Raza (Independent) and Romesh Chander Gupta (JKNPP) filed their nominations from Basohli constituency, Ravinder Singh (JKNPP) filed his nomination from Billawar, Bansi Lal Khandley (Independent) from Hiranagar Assembly Constituency.
Whereas three nomination forms were issued from the office of Returning Officer- Kathua, two forms issued from the RO Office Hiranagar and one nomination form issued from the office of RO- Billawar during the day. (AGENCIES)
