Unprecedented development took place during Omar Abdullah rule: Sadhotra

JAMMU, Nov 22: While continuing the election campaign, Ajay Sadhotra, Senior leader National Conference and contesting candidate from Marh Assembly Constituency addressed series of meetings in villages Chakrali, Nai Basti, Ranjitpur, Allora and Bakshi de Kothey. On his arrival, Mr. Sadhotra was given a warm welcome by the people of these villages.
In his address, Mr. Sadhotra said that the State of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed unprecedented and equitable development of all the three regions and remained focused and concentrated upon developmental works in every sector like creation of new administrative units thereby bringing the administration at the door steps of the common masses, Public Service Guarantee Act for expediting the delivery of services to the people of the State, holding of panchayat elections and strengthening the local Government in the rural areas, construction and upgradation of number of roads, bridges, electrification of rural and far flung areas, water supply to the far flung areas, establishment and upgradation of Primary Health Centres, establishment and upgradation of schools, different schemes under SKEWPY to benefit the youth. Numbers of welfare schemes for handicapped persons, widows and old age persons etc and besides this, undertaking and completion of other major projects.
Mr. Sadhotra appealed to the people to vote for National Conference in the forthcoming Assembly elections keeping in view the unprecedented and multifaceted developments that took place during the last six years under the able leadership of Omar Abdullah.
During the meetings, a large number of political workers of BJP joined the National Conference posing faith in the policies and programmes of the Party and assured that they will work hard to strengthen the party especially in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
