CHENNAI, July 23: State-owned Indian Bank today reported 13.46 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 461.74 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The bank had posted Rs 406.93 crore profit in the same period last fiscal, it said in a filing to the NSE.
Total income in the April-June quarter was up at Rs 3,596.50 crore, from Rs 3,030.74 crore registered during the same period last year.
The Gross NPA for the first quarter stood at 1.66 per cent while Net NPA was 1.04 per cent, it said. (PTI)
