Sir,
As per the service rules, the State employees subscribe to G P Fund which is compulsory. In this regard, the Govt has framed rules for the withdrawal of G P Fund advance. It is refundable, non-refundable and final withdrawal out of the total credit of the individual.
But it is a matter of great concern that whenever an employee wants to withdraw the amount out of his/her credit for construction of house, repair of house or marriage of his/her son/daughter or some other purposes. He needs to get it sanctioned from the competent authority and then withdrawn from Govt Treasury through the DDO concerned and it takes mostly four to six months. Due to this long process, the employee suffers a lot. As a result, he cannot get his/her money on the due date for which it is drawn.
In this regard, I would like to request the authority at the helm of affairs to simplify the procedure for withdrawal of money so that employees may not suffer for want of their own money and can utilize the GP Fund as and when required.
Yours etc…
