JAMMU, Oct 18: Two dead bodies were recovered today from different areas of city outskirts.
According to police sources, an unknown male body appeared to be of a beggar was recovered outside the outgate of Railway Station Jammu, this afternoon. On getting reports, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
A female body also recovered today from Thathar opposite IMPA Sidhra. She has been identified as Shamshada Bibi wife of Abdul Rashid and resident of Dangali Majeen. According to reports, she had been missing from her home since October 16, 2014. Her dead body has been shifted to GMCH, Jammu for post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station on the basis of suspicion police has detained her husband for questioning.
