RAMBAN, June 4: A vehicle of tipper make veered off the road and plunged into a gorge near Thana Maligam area of Ramsu here today leaving the driver injured.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK19A-6189, was coming from Ukhral and moving towards Pogal when the driver, Pervaiz Ahmed, 30, son of Abdul Rehman Sheikh, resident of Malnahal Paristan, Tehsil Pogal Paristan, lost control over the vehicle due to rash and negligent driving and it rolled down into a deep gorge.
The injured driver was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Banihal for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard under Sections 281 and 125(a) of BNS at Police Station Ramsu and started investigation.
