BJP committed to nation-building: Nitin Nabin

PATNA, Jun 4 : BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Thursday said the party is an ideological organisation committed to nation-building.

He was addressing a meeting with newly appointed Bihar office-bearers at the party’s state headquarters in Patna.

According to a statement issued by the party, Nabin said, “The BJP’s greatest strength is its strong organisational structure and dedicated cadre. The party is an ideological organisation committed to nation-building. This aspect has enabled it to earn widespread public trust across the country.”

During the meeting, Nabin outlined a strategy for organisational expansion, booth-level strengthening and upcoming party programmes, the statement said.

He congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers and urged them to work with dedication to strengthen the party down to the booth level.

“Office-bearers should actively communicate government welfare schemes to beneficiaries and remain connected with people to understand their concerns because the party’s functioning is based on collective leadership, organisational discipline and continuous public outreach,” the BJP president said.

He tasked office-bearers with increasing membership by 10 to 15 per cent and called for strengthening units at the Shakti Kendra level.

Party leaders should avoid personality-centric politics, hold monthly meetings of district core committees and distribute responsibilities among workers to improve organisational efficiency, he said.

The meeting was attended by state BJP president Sanjay Saraogi, state organisation general secretary Bhikhu Bhai Dalsania and state co-incharge Deepak Prakash.( PTI )
