JAMMU, June 2: Continuing her weekly public outreach programme dedicated exclusively to addressing the concerns and grievances of women, BJP State general secretary and Headquarters in charge, Sanjita Dogra on Tuesday held a women’s grievance hearing session at Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan in Kachi Chawni, here.
A large number of women from different areas of Jammu visited the party office and shared various issues related to their personal and social lives.
The women raised concerns regarding pensions, ration cards, healthcare facilities, drinking water supply, electricity, education-related issues, as well as several family and social matters that required the intervention of the concerned departments.
Sanjita Dogra listened to every woman’s grievances with seriousness and patience, carefully recorded their complaints, and assured them of all possible assistance. She took up genuine cases with the concerned departments and ensured appropriate follow-up for their early resolution.
Expressing satisfaction over the increasing participation of women in the weekly grievance hearing programme, Sanjita Dogra said that it is a privilege for her to serve as a bridge between women and the officials responsible for resolving their issues. She added that such sessions reduce the hardships faced by women and providing them with a platform where their voices can be heard gives her immense satisfaction.
While interacting with the women, Dogra remarked, “A woman understands another woman’s pain better.” She said that women often feel more comfortable sharing their problems, challenges, and personal concerns with another woman. This sense of trust and emotional connection is the primary reason why an increasing number of women visit the BJP Headquarters every Tuesday to seek guidance, support, and assistance.
Sanjita Dogra further said that the BJP has always remained committed to women’s empowerment and welfare. Under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, several historic and impactful schemes have been launched to strengthen the social, economic, educational, and health status of women across the country.
