JAMMU, May 25: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) here today staged street play ‘Nashe Ko Bulava, Mout Ko Badawa’.
Vishwa Mitter, a prominent social worker is continuing a committed campaign against drug addiction.
Whenever he meets some addict or their parents, siblings or friends, he says that promoting intoxication is an invitation to death.
Vishwa Mitter says that addiction of drugs weakens the immune system, causes chronic organ features, triggers ailments like cirrhosis, lung cancer etc.
“It may also lead to the death of bright future, mental peace and darkens social reputation. Addiction not only destroys your physical health but also shatters your family’s financial stability and emotional well being,” he maintained.
People who witnessed the Nukkad Natak appreciated the theme and contents.
Actors who performed in the play were Shalley Singh, Shivani and Vijay Malla.
