RAJOURI, May 19: Three persons were injured as a vehicle fell down into a gorge in Hubbi area on Thannamandi- Hubbi-Kotranka road today.
Reports said the tragic road accident took place on Tuesday in the Hubbi area of Kotranka in Rajouri district, where a youth lost control over the vehicle and it landed into nearly 200 feet deep gorge. Three persons travelling in the vehicle sustained serious injuries.
With the help of local residents and police, the injured were immediately rescued and shifted to Government Hospital, Kotranka for treatment.
The impact of the accident was so severe that the vehicle was completely damaged.
The injured have been identified as Vicky Kumar (25), son of Sudesh Singh; Mohd Shakeel (12) , son of Abdul Rashid and Subash Singh (20), son of Prem Singh.
After providing first- aid at Kotranka hospital, doctors referred all the three injured persons to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
