MENDHAR, Oct 3: A youth was injured seriously after his Enfield motor-cycle was hit by a Tata Sumo on the out skirts of the town here today.
The mishap took place when 25-year-old Navneet Sharma, son of Suresh Kumar, was moving towards his home at Dharana from their furniture shop at Mendhar town. On the way, a Tata Sumo hit him. He was thrown away along with his bike and sustained serious head injuries. The Sumo driver escaped from the spot while police removed the injured to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar. The doctors provided him preliminary treatment and then referred him to Govt Medical College Hospital, Jammu. The police has registered a case in this connection.
