MSJK protests against unscheduled power cuts

JAMMU, May 11: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple.
The protesters raised slogans against prepaid metering system and condemned the unscheduled power cuts even in the hundred per cent metered areas.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple demanded 200 units of free electricity and return of Salal, Uri and Rattle Hydel Power Projects to J&K.
He also demanded the royalty to J&K government for electricity projects supplying power in other States.
The MSJK leader further demanded free drinking water supply to J&K people and threatened a mass agitation if unscheduled power curtailment is not stopped immediately.
Dev Raj, Ram Kumar Das, Mukesh Gupta, Vipan Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Vicky Gupta, Bramu Sharma, Akbar Khan, Mohd Shafi, Nazier Khan, Sudershan Sharma and many others were also present in the protest.
