KISHTWAR, May 8: The national art workshop ‘Jashan-e-Bahar’ organised by Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable (MSCBMC) Trust in collaboration with 11 Rashtriya Rifles at Chatroo, concluded today.
The concluding day witnessed a series of colourful cultural performances presented by students from various schools, including patriotic songs, traditional performances, martial arts demonstrations and other artistic presentations that captivated the audience and reflected the rich cultural spirit and talent of the region.
The 11 Rashtriya Rifles appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity of the participating children and felicitated them on concluding ceremony and the MSCBMC Trust also distributed gifts and mementos among the participants as a token of encouragement and appreciation.
Prominent artists including Shalender Singh from Delhi, Aditya Shankar Prasad from Noida, P. Devaraj from Tamil Nadu, Sharmila Sharma from Delhi, Govind Vishwas from Gujarat, and Apurba Karati from West Bengal mentored the students and encouraged them to explore creativity through art and cultural expression.
MSCBMC Trust president, Anuradha Rishi, expressed gratitude to the Army, participating artists, schools and local administration for making the workshop a success.
She further appealed to social organisations and institutions to organise similar educational and cultural programmes in far-flung areas to encourage youth participation and promote positive engagement through art, culture and creativity.
