KISHTWAR, May 7: As part of the ongoing National Art Workshop ‘Jashan-e-Bahar’ organised by Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust (MSCBMC Trust) in collaboration with 11 Rashtriya Rifles, the participating artists today visited the breathtaking Sinthan Top and admired its snow-covered landscapes, serene atmosphere and immense tourism potential.
Renowned artists from different parts of the country including Shalender Singh, Aditya Shankar Prasad, P. Devaraj, Sharmila Sharma, Govind Vishwas and Apurba Karati, expressed admiration for the unmatched natural beauty of the region.
Fresh snowfall and the scenic surroundings inspired the artists to capture the essence of the landscape through their creative perspectives.
They described Sinthan Top as one of the most beautiful and unexplored destinations of J&K and stressed the need to promote such scenic locations at the national level through art, culture and tourism initiatives.
MSCBMC Trust president, Anuradha Rishi, said the visit was aimed to connect artists with rich natural heritage of Kishtwar and showcase the tourism potential of remote areas like Sinthan Top.
The role of Indian Army, especially 11 Rashtriya Rifles, was appreciated for facilitating and supporting the visit as part of the broader outreach and community engagement initiatives in the area.
