Srinagar, May 7: Jammu and Kashmir Police and J&K Bank on Thursday signed a historic addendum to the 2023 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at enhancing welfare measures for families of martyrs, serving police personnel and Special Police Officers (SPOs).
According to officials, the revised agreement will provide enhanced insurance coverage along with improved medical and educational support for beneficiaries.
The addendum was signed by Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat and Managing Director & CEO of J&K Bank Amitava Chatterjee in the presence of senior officers of J&K Police and J&K Bank.
Officials said the initiative reflects the commitment of both institutions towards the welfare and well-being of police personnel and their families.
