JAMMU, May 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the promotion of four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) as Superintendents of Police (SPs) and 8 Inspectors as DySPs.

As per two separate orders issued by the Home Department of the UT, the two DySPs of the General Cadre who have been promoted as SPs are Mudasser Ahmed Tramboo and Vaseem Mehmood, while those DySPs who have been promoted from the Stenography Cadre are Ramesh Chander and Riyaz Ahmad.
Meanwhile, two other departmental orders said that of the 8 Inspectors promoted as DySPs, the four from the General Cadre are Yog Raj, Yasir Arfat, Hargopal Singh, and Latief Ahmad, while those from the Ministerial Cadre are Kuldeep Raj, Ashok Kumar, Riyaz Ahmad Khan, and Bashir Ahmad.
