LUCKNOW, Apr 28: Secondary Education Minister in UP Government, Gulab Devi, here today inaugurated the regional office of Bhartiya Shiksha Board (BSB).
Swami Ramdev of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Dr. N.P Singh and many saints were also present on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Yog Guru Swami Ramdev said the way revolution in the popularity and awareness about Yoga was achieved, in the similar way BSB will also become beneficial for all and the start has been done from the pious land of Uttar Pradesh.
He said that this year about one lakh students will be brought under BSB and UP will contribute a major portion of that.
Swami Ramdev also said that schools of BSB will rejuvenate the rich culture and values of India.
After the lighting of ceremonial lamp, the chief guest, Secondary Education Minister, Gulab Devi claimed that the education given in English schools is directionless and promotes western culture.
“Now the schools under BSB will make the students morally strong and they will respect their parents and mentors,” she maintained adding that these schools will soon become centres for building strong characters.
Gulab Devi also assured all support from UP government for flourishing the schools of BSB.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Dr. Mahender Singh, Avadh Ojha, Acharya Swadesh, Sadhvi Devpriya, Pushkar Diwedi, Rakesh, Sant Alok Dass and others.
