RAJOURI, Apr 26: Police have solved a series of theft incidents in the jurisdiction of Police Post Chingus by arresting two accused and recovering stolen property worth lakhs of rupees.
Acting on specific intelligence, a police team led by the Incharge of PP Chingus launched a swift and coordinated operation, leading to the apprehension of the suspects. During sustained questioning, both accused confessed to their involvement in multiple theft cases in the area.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Viqas Ahmed, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Paran Kalakote, and Mumtaz Ahmed, son of Matiullah, resident of Paran, tehsil and district Rajouri.Further investigation is underway.
